About us

Welcome to Spars Lodge

Discover a peaceful lodge with a cosy ambience and a rustic décor, far away from the crowds, but not far from the heart of Shimla. Spars Lodge has eight bright and sunny rooms with a valley view.

In the neighborhood is the State Museum, the Viceregal Lodge and the historic Oberoi Cecil Hotel. A longer walk is to The Mall or down through the forest to Annadale and the Army Heritage Museum.

Expect personalised service and delicious meals prepared with care and flair.

We have 8 well-appointed rooms, including two four bedded suites. All our rooms are equipped with attached baths and round the clock, hot and cold water and a TV.

A steep walk down into the valley through a pine forest. Good fitness is required.

Viceregal Lodge

A beautiful location is the Viceregal Lodge which is a 15 minute leisurely walk just behind the Lodge.

Spars Lounge & Dining

Our dining area and lounge has lots of sunlight and a great view of the valley where you can enjoy some of our special dishes like Smoked Trout, Poached Trout in lemon butter sauce, Pork Chops, Roast Chicken with mashed potatoes and buttered vegetables, Pastas, home made thin crust Pizzas and on a cold day try our Clear Chicken soup with lemon and coriander.

This is small hotel but is well maintained and very reasonable price. The manager, Asha Ram ji takes great care in maintaining the hotel. We had a homely feeling during the stay. It is located slightly away from the hustle bustle of mall road, Shimla.

Amazing food. Good ambiance. The food here is pretty amazing especially the dinner which has a choice between pork, chicken and fish. The smoked fish is a specialty here.
